Jacksonvillet Skyway Columns, Andrew Reid SHEd

Late in 2017 I had a long stay in Jacksonville with a heavy work load and use to take some breaks during the day and walk around the are of the office on Bay Street. These columns of the JAX SkyWAy were a breath of fresh air within the chaotic downtown traffic. The paintings wrap around the cylinder columns offering an opportunity to experience them as you walked from different angles. I caught myself stopping and walking around a column to engage with the overall canvas. Eventually I decided to document it along Bay Street and Hogan Street. Here are the results.
